Overview
The goal of the Escalon Unified Curriculum Department is to provide the district with high quality support, services and resources in order to continually improve student learning and results. The department is committed to providing current and relevant educational materials, rich technology resources, and positive, nurturing learning environments for all students and staff. We are responsible for providing instructional staff with meaningful professional development, implementing systems to monitor student achievement to inform instruction, and form strong partnerships within our school community – because our students deserve nothing less. As a department we believe – decisions must be made based on research and best practices; we must regularly reflect on our current practices; changes can only be made for the improvement of our practices; and we must continue to improve our skills and understandings regarding the science and craft of education.
